Syd-Kol is a registered, charitable and non-profit group which has been incorporated with an aim of cultural exchange between India and Australia. Currently few Indo – Australian intellectuals are involved in this organisation endeavoring to attract more interested people from various spheres of social activity within both nations.

The essence of Australia lies in its multiculturalism. The Indian sub continent believes in unity in diversity. Syd-Kol bridges these two aspects thereby initiating an exchange of varied cultural diasporas in a harmonious way. The dissimilarities between the two cultures in their foods, language, visual arts and social characteristics can be woven in a constructive way through cultural exchange. Syd-Kol acknowledges these sentiments and embraces the challenge of bringing these rich heritages of these two vast lands closer.

While achieving cultural exchange Syd-Kol tries to raise fund for charity. The beneficiaries are organisations that are doing commendable work towards their social commitment to youth and underprivileged children who are simultaneously struggling for adequate funds. Syd-Kol’s supporters and volunteers devote their skills and time to organise and take part cultural events and raise fund for charity. Syd-Kol’s volunteers also devote time liaising with the corporate world to seek financial help from time to time for the worthy charitable organisations.
